The training would help the participants to know the ICT technology to develop fresh Drupal websites, develop and update the web content on the previous websites of their various ministries. At the end of the session every participant has to develop his or her own website with face of content.
Web committees were hands on deck to help the participants in what are the basic steps in developing a website. During the training it came to the attention of MOICI and the trainer that most ministries with websites are not being managed or administered for quite some time. Content as well as the structure of such websites is not up to date. Requirement techniques involved the discussion of the needs at a particular ministry in order to facilitate content gathering and updating of the website.
Each participant was given the task of creating a website for their particular ministry. And as of now almost all the websites created during this training are online and they are being administered by the ICT officers in Government Ministries and Departments.
Participants were awarded certificates for attending the training and thanked MOICI and UNDP for organizing this event and promised to work diligently in seeing that their Ministries’ websites are attractive and regularly updated.
